PPA Criteria For Business Solar

We take the following factors into consideration before giving a business solar. Does your building work?

• Sunny Places:

  Ideally, your building is in a city that gets a lot of sunshine through the year.

• Southern Exposure:

  If your roof slopes to the north we cannot offer you a solar PPA. If you have flat roof or  if it slopes south, it will work great for a PPA.

• Clear Space On The Roof:

  Roofs should have 20 feet x 25 feet of clear space. Many roofs are so filled with air conditioners and other obstacles that we cannot fit solar up there.

• No Shady Trees or Tall Buildings Nearby:

  Tall buildings or trees towering over your building will block the sun. Your roof needs clear unobstructed views of the afternoon sun, especially to the south.

• Good Roof Condition:

  Your roof needs to be structurally sound, under 10 years old, and in good condition meaning no leaks.

• Under 4 Stories:

  A Greenzu solar system works best on buildings that are no more than four stories high.

• Building Ownership:

  Greenzu prefers to work with companies that either own their buildings or have building leases of 15 years or more.
