Greenzu is a rapidly expanding solar project developer that caters exclusively to the small commercial space. We eliminate the financial burden of solar for our customers by providing them financing in the form of solar power purchase agreements (PPA) and leases.

Job Responsibilities

We are looking for a knowledgeable commercial solar construction manager. This person will spearhead our construction operations team. Responsibilities include:

• Manage the full project cycle: project planning, feasibility, design, permitting, and construction.
• Support sales/finance teams in solar project feasibility analysis and development of project budget
• Create and define work schedules and budget to meet contract requirements
• Mastery of construction products, practices, subcontracting and project work flow
• Perform technical evaluation and due diligence on subcontractors
• Manage subcontractors in the field
• Run bid solicitation process when necessary
• Perform quality and safety oversight
• Conduct site surveys

Position Qualifications

We want a self-starter who has a command of the PV space! To get technical, that means you have:

• BS degree in engineering (mechanical or civil), construction, architecture or equivalent
• 7 years experience in commercial construction
• Minimum of 4 years experience in solar – need to have a depth knowledge in all PV components (technical and financial)
• NABCEP and/or CPM certification
• Ability to lead construction crews
• Strong organization
• Like to split time between the field and office!
• Most importantly, you want to play a pivotal role in shaping our operations!
